​Project 3: The building commonly known as the "Ticket Booth" and the "Cooling Room" had some work done as well.

After years of long lines, the Ticket Booth has had double windows installed to hopefully make purchasing tickets a little more streamlined. So, instead of one window, there are now two working windows, side by side. 

Tickets are still "Cash" only. But as usual, there will be ATM's throughout the festival grounds.

The building also received a new paint job and needed repairs.

Project 4:  The Shirt Shack needed repairs on the ramp for handicap access. 

We are proud to announce that a new ramp has been built for access to the Shirt Shack and a new ramp was added to the entrance of the new Cooling Room.

We always want to make sure everyone has access to the festival ground facilities.

City Project: Although we did not fund this project, the Brooklet Community Development Association did work closely with the City of Brooklet, the Brooklet City Manager, Lonnie Adamson III, and Brooklet Mayor, Nicky Gwinnett, to bring this project to fruition and completion.

The Festival Ground now has new underground electric lines!

This is such an exciting announcement! No more overhead lines and large poles in the vending and amusement areas. This brings the grounds into the 2026 era!

Project 1: The first project that the BCDA group worked on was tackling some much needed repairs on the Gazebo in the Town Square.

We are proud to announce that the Gazebo has been repaired and repainted. 

The Gazebo will get new shingles this year as well and that project will hopefully be completed before September 19, 2026.

The Brooklet Community Development Association works every year to finance community projects. These projects are done in partnership with the City of Brooklet. Mayor Nicky Gwinnett is often the bridge between the city and the Association, working closely with both to ensure mutual cooperation.

The Brooklet Community Development Association came into existence stemming from community need and its volunteer's work tirelessly with that in mind. The group forges ahead yearly to provide help in necessary community projects while providing a seamless, well thought out Festival every year. 

​Project 2:  The Building that has lovingly dubbed the "Shirt Shack" has been in need of some repairs and a new coat of paint.

We are proud to announce that this iconic building has received a new coat of paint this year and has been repaired. It has been given back its special shine on the festival grounds!

2026 Projects​

Making positive change in our community is what the Brooklet Community Development Association is all about. We are a group of volunteers that love the City of Brooklet as well as the People of Brooklet.

We always welcome new members and volunteers to our association. We meet the last Monday of every Month at 7 pm inside the Randy Newman Center on Railroad Street.
